1) How do I register my child for a daycare place?

Here's how to register your child for a daycare place at kitea:

  1. Find your preferred daycare center near you via the Location finder choose file
  2. Fill out the space request form and submit it online.
  3. Call from Parent service receive and discuss any remaining questions in person.

Depending on the city or region, you may need to register your child via the official online portal of that city. Under the menu item... 2) When does a kindergarten year start and when does it end?

The start and end dates of the kindergarten year depend on the specific federal state. In Germany, the kindergarten year typically begins on August 01st and ends on July 31st.

Depending on the region or city, the daycare year in some federal states starts on September 01st and ends on August 31st (example: Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg).

3) When are new children admitted to the daycare center?

We generally accept new children at the start of the kindergarten year in August/September (depending on the federal state). If places become available during the kindergarten year, enrollment is also possible in other months. For questions regarding placement, please contact our Parent service.
