We introduce ourselves
Kitea is an independent provider of daycare centers. We support children from four months old until they start school with modern, loving, and high-quality care. In over 100 daycare centers throughout Germany, we create safe and nurturing environments, foster self-confidence, participation, and future skills, and cultivate respectful relationships with children, families, and staff. As part of the Klett Group, we stand for education, equal opportunities, and strong early childhood development – so that children can grow up healthy and happy.
History
Kitea was founded in 2026 through the merger of two established daycare providers, Villa Luna and Kinderzentren Kunterbunt, within the Klett Group – and has since shared the guiding principle "For your sake." Our founding story, the idea behind our name, and the people who embody this attitude every day shape our path as a modern, growing provider with over 110 facilities in nine German states.

Behind kitea stands a dedicated leadership team that shapes our educational approach, our quality standards, and our vision for strong early childhood education.
