We're opening three newly built daycare centers for the 2026/27 school year! Children and their families are warmly welcome – now brand new in Hamburg and North Rhine-Westphalia. Here's a brief introduction:

Location Wuppertal (NRW):

The daycare center “kitea Wuppertal Virchowstraße” (formerly: Villa Luna Wuppertal) Opens in September 2026 Located close to the city center, yet within walking distance of greenery in the charmingly diverse Barmen district, the daycare center offers space for four groups with up to 73 children aged four months to school entry.

In addition to bilingual (German/English) immersion-based care, our children can expect a diverse range of educational and physical activities in spacious, bright rooms with an imaginative outdoor area. A highlight is the large multi-purpose room, which can also be used as a gymnasium for games and physical activities.

Location Eitorf (NRW):

The "kitea Eitorf" daycare center in Eitorf near Bonn (formerly: KiKu Little Poets) Opens in September 2026. The modular building, constructed using sustainable timber-hybrid modular construction methods, was erected in the first week of March 2026. The daycare center offers space for 6 groups of children aged 4 months to school entry.

Particularly attractive for families is the planned kitchen with its own cafeteria, which will provide balanced and freshly prepared meals for the children every day. The "KiKu Kleine Dichter" daycare center will also be a language-focused daycare and will receive support from an additional PlusKita specialist as well as the local language support center. Furthermore, the daycare center will be equipped with a motor skills center offering diverse movement opportunities for all children (with and without special needs).

Hamburg location:

Our daycare center “kitea Hamburg Hafen City” (formerly: Villa Luna Hamburg HafenCity) is currently being built in the Elbbrücken district and It will also open in autumn 2026. It is part of the "Moringa Hamburg" project, a co-living building concept by the renowned Landmarken AG, which consistently focuses on environmental sustainability; for example, only ecologically sound building materials are used. The daycare center offers space for 5 groups with up to 73 children aged 4 months to school entry.

In our kitchen, which uses organic ingredients, a dedicated chef prepares balanced, fresh meals for the children daily. In addition to bilingual (German/English) immersion care, the children can enjoy a diverse range of educational and physical activities.
